Insecticide Patches for
controlling aphids on outdoor and greenhouse roses. Once
applied it protects roses against aphids up to 2 months. The
active ingredient is incorporated in the adhesive and is
slowly released through the bark of the plants' sprouts from
where it is distributed in all upper parts of the plant. As
soon as the insects start sucking on the leafs, flowers or
sprouts they take up the active ingredient and die rapidly.
Instructions
Open the sachets just before application. Tear away the
"Insecticide Patch" from the carrier foil. Touch only at the
end of the strip, where there is no glue. Wrap the patch
around the basis of each main branch. In case of stem roses
one plaster at the upper part of the stem is sufficient,
even if the stem is woody. Remove disturbing thorns prior to
use. Make sure that the patch sticks firmly against the
bark. If possible choose locations without major rents.
Usually, one application per season is enough.
